Canon EOS 5D Mark IV was announced in August, 2016. Now the company released a new firmware update for Canon EOS 5D Mark IV.
The firmware version is V 1.0.4 fixed several bugs and also features more improvements to the camera and also there is expectation that it will soon include another firmware update on the C-Log features.
Canon USA today has released a new firmware update for Canon EOS 5D Mark IV. This firmware version is V 1.0.4, it fixed several bugs and improvements of 5D Mark IV, and we may see a big firmware soon on the C-Log features added.
Have a look on Firmware Version 1.0.4 which comes with the following fixes and improvements:
- Fixes a phenomenon in which a red-colored area may appear at the bottom-center of a captured image when shooting in bulb mode or during a long exposure.
- Fixes a phenomenon in which the autofocus may not respond when the autofocus is initiated via pressing the shutter button, the AF-ON button or the AE lock button when configured in the custom control menu.
- Enhances the reliability of communications between the camera and SD card.
- Fixes incorrect wording on the Finnish language menu screen.
